Bhutan’s National Football Team is all geared up for tomorrow’s match against Sri Lanka for the 2018 World Cup qualifying match. The team landed in Sri Lanka on Monday after week-long acclimatisation training in Bangkok.
Before they left for Bangkok, the team had also undergone rigorous training in the country for about a month.
Bhutan’s Coach, Choki Nima, during a press conference in Sri Lanka said the team is determined to give it all.
Sri Lanka’s Coach, Nicklo said they do not care whether it is Bhutan, Pakistan and Nepal. “We have a good chance and we are not going to miss this opportunity.
Sri Lanka stands at 173 position in the FIFA ranking and Bhutan at 209.
Sri Lanka will face Bhutan in their away game at Changlimithang, Thimphu on March, 17.
