Paro FC stumbled on a night to forget against Bengaluru FC conceding 9 goals and scoring only 1 during the second leg of the Preliminary Round two of the 2020 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in India yesterday.
Paro FC was 2 down in the first 15 minutes, and out came Chencho Gyeltshen’s powerful shot that found the host’s back of the net giving hope for beating the odds. But it proved too heavy a weight for Paro FC to carry when they saw their defence tumble conceding 7 more goals taking the aggregate to 10:1.
With the outcome, Paro FC’s dream to compete for the AFC cup came to an early end.
