Helping Bhutan address the shortage of resources in the health sector, the Turkish government donated an ambulance worth more than Nu 5 M to the Health Ministry today.
This will help in providing quality care for patients, especially those in remote areas while transporting to the regional and national hospitals for tertiary health care services.
The Ministry will be deploying the ambulance to areas where it is most needed. With this, the country now has 117 ambulances.
