Nima, 35, a former Lecturer teacher at Paro College of Education, won from Bumthang. He garnered 1,936 votes. He got 328 votes through postal ballot.
The former National Council member, Tshewang Jurmi could manage only 491 votes, the lowest amongst the four contestants.
Another contestant, Sonam Tenzin garnered 971 votes and Rinchen Phuntsho managed 951 votes.
Bumthang has 8,511 registered voters, out of which 3,969 were female.
