An out-of-control car ‘flew’ into a house and injured a 53-year-old man who was inside his home at Kabreytar in Phuentshogling this morning.
He was taken to the hospital in Thimphu immediately. According to a source, the man suffered chest and pelvic fractures. As per officials, the driver must have lost control of the car and accelerated instead of applying the brakes.
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old driver who only has a learner’s license was also sent along with the victim to Thimphu hospital. He will be charge-sheeted after his return to Phuentshogling.
