HH Je Khenpo appoints Lam of Rinchentse Lhakhang

His Holiness the Je Khenpo appointed a 30-year-old, Kuenley Tshering as the new Lam of Rinchentse Lhakhang under Darla Gewog in Chhukha today.

The Lhakhang’s former Lam Tshering Penjor has now been given the religious responsibility of a Sungop for the welfare of the employees of Druk Green Power Corporation in the gewog.

The two lams received ceremonial scarf from His Holiness coinciding with the birth anniversary of Guru Rinpoche today.

His Holiness is currently administering a week long mani dungdrup that ends tomorrow. Thousands of people have gathered to pay respect to His Holiness and receive blessings.
