6 paged lecture titled, ‘The Visionary Dragon King’, launched

HRHAshiSonamDechanWangchuck-The Visionary Dragon King-Her Royal Highness, Ashi Sonam Dechan Wangchuck, launched a six-paged lecture titled, ‘The Visionary Dragon King: A True Patriot of the Kingdom of Bhutan’, in Paro, today.

The lecture is a tribute to His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo and was introduced in all 20 Dzongkhags, on the same day.

The lecture contains major achievements and services of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Singye Wangchuck, during his reign.


“He took nothing, but gave his whole life to the people and the country. A life of example he led, setting the standard so high, that the Bhutanese people now demand nothing less of leadership in our country,” said Her Royal Highness.

“He took Bhutan to the greatest heights, and to our golden era, our renaissance on just over three decades.”

The lecture is compiled by the Bhutan National Legal Institute is to commemorate His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo’s 60th Birth Anniversary.
