Price of Cordyceps this season has brought more disappointment and frustration than profit for the people of Saephu Gewog in Wangdue. This year, the highest price that a kilogram of Cordyceps fetched was close to 900,000 against over Nu.1.2 mn last year. Cordycep auction in Sephu Gewog was held on July 22 and July 23.
