PM leaves for India

The Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay has left for India this morning at the invitation of the government of India to attend the swearing-in-ceremony of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan tomorrow.

Heads of government of other South Asian countries are also expected to attend the swearing-in-ceremony.

Lyonchhen is scheduled to meet the new Prime Minister of India on the May 27.

During the meeting, the two leaders are expected to discuss bilateral relations and other issues of mutual interest and concern.
