Over Nu. 5,00,000 worth of necessary items were distributed to the economically disadvantaged families and individuals in Nimshong village under Trongsa.
About 60 individuals benefited from the charity.
The charity was made possible after different sections of society in Trongsa, such as business community, Chhoetse volunteers, civil servants and the staff of MHPA came together to work for the good cause.
The beneficiaries received blankets, utensils, and footwear among others.
Chhoetse volunteer, which has 100 members as of today, began in 2013.
