His Majesty meets the PM of India

HM-PM Manmohan Singh., His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen graced a reception dinner hosted in honour of their Majesties at the banquet hall of the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the evening. His Majesty is on an official visit to the Indian Capital, New Delhi, on the invitation of the President of India, Dr. Pranab Mukherjee.

HM-Prime Minister Manmohan SinghHis Majesty the King met with the Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh, following which His Majesty and Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen graced a private lunch hosted in honour of Their Majesties at the Prime Minister’s residence.HM-Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen being received by the UPA Chairperson, Sonia Gandhi

The lunch was attended by leaders, ministers and senior government officials of India, and Ministers and senior members of the Bhutanese delegation. Following the lunch, His Majesty the King granted an audience to the Vice President of India at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

HM-Finance Minister P ChidambaramHis Majesty The King also met the Vice President of India Hamid Ansari, the United Progressive Alliance Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, External Affairs Minister, Salman Khurshid, Finance Minister, P Chidambaram, and Commerce and Industry Minister, Anand Sharma, yesterday.
