The Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay, met Haoling Xu, the Assistant Secretary-General, Assistant Administrator and Director of the Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific at the UNDP yesterday.
Lyonchhen conveyed that the Bhutanese government attaches great importance to UNDP’s partnership and field presence. Lyonchhen added that Bhutan’s progress so far is attributed to UNDP’s generous cooperation and development assistance.
Mr. Xu reassured that UNDP is committed to continuing its cooperation and will render its support in fulfilling Bhutan’s development objectives.
