CHortenVandalism-Pgatshel-OneKilled(Update) The suspect who was involved in Tashi Gomang Chorten vandalism on May 9 this year in Pema Gatshel’s Dagor village in Shumar Gewog was found dead. The remains were recovered on August 9 after he went missing ever since.

He was apparently shot by an arrow by the locals on the same night. A group of 12 men are in police custody now. The men are detained for giving false statement to the police. They had not revealed during the interrogation that they had chased the suspect and shot him with an arrow.

A mobile phone and a hand bag belonging to the suspect were found at the crime scene.
