Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa reveals eight more candidates

DNTDruk Nyamrup Tshogpa has revealed eight more candidates, today. With these, DNT now has officially revealed 42 candidates.

Kinley Dorji has been named as Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa’s candidate from Radhi-Sakteng constituency in Trashigang.

Tenzin Lekphel is standing as DNT’s candidate from Trashigang’s Bartsham-Shongphu constituency.

Tashi will contest from Drujeygang-Tseza constituency in Dagana.

Jigme Lhendup from Haa has been declared as DNT’s candidate from Bji-Katsho-Eusu constituency.

Tshering Dhendup will contest from Goenkhamey-Lunana constituency in Gasa and Phuntsho Namgay from Bumthang as the candidate from Chhumey-Ura constituency.

Sonam Dendup will represent DNT from Nanong-Shumar constituency in Pemagatshel. And Sangay Phurba from Punakha will stand from Kabji-Talo constituency.

Meanwhile, Druk Nyamrup Tshogpa opened its party offices in Bumthang this morning. Located near the bus terminal in Chamkhar town, the inauguration was attended by DNT’s vice president, Jigme Zangpo, and its two candidates from Bumthang.

Bumthang is the 17th dzongkhag where DNT party has opened offices so far. The party is yet to open offices in Lhuentshe, Samdrup Jongkhar and Gasa.
