The Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa has declared a candidate of their own. Former NC MP Tashi Samdrup will represent the party from Nubi Tangsibji constituency in Trongsa. The 51-year-old completed his Masters in Science in Mountain Forestry from the University of Natural Resources and Applied Sciences in Austria. With this, the party has declared 40 candidates so far.
