The Royal Commission for Urban Development has launched a virtual engagement platform to improve public engagement for any government project. Previously, individuals had to attend public consultation programmes in person, which posed challenges for some people, including hesitancy to share their views. However, with the introduction of the virtual platform, these issues are expected to be resolved. For now, the virtual engagement platform allows people to access and review the Thimphu structure plan, which has been in progress since August last year. By visiting the website, individuals can familiarize themselves with the plan and provide their suggestions and feedback accordingly.
