Thimphu City FC is currently leading the BoB Bhutan Premier League table with 25 points. They ended their first leg of the season with a comeback to seal their win against Transport United FC 2-1 at the Changlimithang yesterday. With only 11 matches remaining in the first round of the league, the two titans, Thimphu City FC and Paro FC are the only teams without a single loss so far.

Fans gathered at the Changlimithang stadium to witness two of the top teams, Thimphu City FC and Transport collide yesterday.

Although Thimphu City conceded a goal in the late first half of the game, they came out strong in the second half equalizing the goal in the 52nd minute of the game.

And just a few minutes later, the men in blue found the back of the net for the second time and emerged victorious 2-1.

Although Thimphu City FC sits on top of the table, Paro FC has two games remaining in hand. And if Paro FC wins both matches, they will top the table by way of goal difference.

The 42-year-old Japanese striker of Paro FC, Kazuo Homma is the top scorer in the league with 14 goals so far.

All 10 teams in the league will play a total of nine matches in both rounds.

Meanwhile, FC Takin and Paro Rinpung FC are the only teams without a win in the competition so far and sit at the bottom table. However, they have a few matches remaining.
