To complement the existing modes for reporting corruption offences, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) launched the exclusive social media accounts on WeChat and WhatsApp, yesterday. This, according to the ACC, is given the reach and popularity of social media among the general public.

The ACC also reassures that “the security features have been provided to ensure confidentiality as well as proper processing and handling of any complaints lodged.”

According to the ACC, complaints of corruption offences have been one of the primary sources of information for initiating investigations and anti-corruption remedial measures in the country since its establishment in 2006.

The link for ‘ ‘ is given below. People can click the link or scan the QR code to access the WhatsApp and WeChat applications to report or lodge a corruption offence.
