Gelephu FCB auction yard has resumed the export service from today. The auction was conducted on a social media platform of WhatsApp.

Bidders from Phuentshogling, Jaigaon and Datgari in Assam were invited to a group chat in the WhatsApp formed by the auction yard. The bidders get 30 minutes time to bid.

Bidders who won the bid will have to deposit the amount in the FCB account. The FCB will take the goods till the Bhutan-India border gate and tranship it to Indian vehicles. This will all be done in strict compliance with the COVID-19 protocols.

Gelegphu FCB has temporarily employed 12 Bhutanese youth with a monthly salary of Nu 12000 for loading and unloading. They will also be kept in a contained area with food and lodge facilities.

Gelephu FCB has suspended export service since the nationwide lockdown.
