Two truck drivers coming from Phuentshogling to Gomtu to pick up cement have been quarantined after they had close contact with tollbooth operators at Madhya, an Indian town near Birpara, yesterday.

According to the truck drivers, they were charged INR 450 as tollbooth fees, and since they did not have any money with them to pay, the tollbooth operators climbed on the truck doors leading to the close contact.

However, the drivers said they did not open the door or windows of their truck.

Both the drivers are quarantined in Gomtu.
