Landslide destroys three-storey house in Chaskhar

A family of three from Pam in Chaskhar Gewog of Monggar lost their three-storey house to a landslide on Sunday. The incident occurred at around 8.30 in the evening.

However, there were no casualties reported and all their belongings have been retrieved. The gewog administration has submitted its assessment report to the dzongkhag administration and the concerned insurance company.

Meanwhile, the continuous rainfall has also reportedly damaged two other houses in the gewog recently.
