Friendly cricket tournament to mark 50 years of Indo-Bhutan friendship starts

To celebrate golden jubilee for establishment of bilateral ties between Bhutan and India, four men teams from the two countries are participating in friendly cricket tournament in the capital.

The inaugural match kicked off today. The finals will be played this Saturday (April 21). Bhutan and India established diplomatic ties in 1968. The tournament is being organised Bhutan Cricket Council Board with funds from Assam Cricket Association and India-Bhutan foundation.
