The Dorji Lopen of Central Monastic Body conferred Tashi Lekdhar or congratulatory scarf to Lam Tenzin Norbu, 50, as the new Guen Zhug Neten of the Central Monastic Body in Punakha Dzong today.
Lam Tenzin from Punakha served as the Lam of Thimphu National Referral Hospital. His responsibility then was to conduct religious ceremonies for the wellbeing of hospital staff and patients.
