H1N1 in Damphu

(UPDATE) Three students of Damphu Higher Secondary School in Tsirang have tested positive for H1N1. Samples collected from these students were sent to the National Public Health Laboratory in Thimphu for confirmation yesterday.

Meanwhile, 36 people including two students of Damphu Higher Secondary School have come to the Damphu hospital with similar symptoms.

The students are being quarantined and treated. The rest have been sent home after giving medication.

Damphu Higher Secondary School has been closed for a week to prevent the virus from spreading.
