Thimphu police rounded up six men yesterday for allegedly stabbing a student on the back.
Police found the student a few metres away from the crime scene in Babesa.
The police had reached the scene after a tip off.
Upon reaching the scene, they also found the student’s friend lying on the ground unconscious.
They immediately took the student and friend to the National Referral hospital.
The duo told police they were attacked by a group of boys on their way home from a gathering.
The student is still in the hospital and is said to be in a stable condition.
