nationwide-cleaning-campaign-on-december-9To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of His Majesty The King’s accession to the Golden Throne, a nationwide cleaning campaign will be conducted on December 9.

Videoconferencing with the Dzongdags of 20 Dzongkhag yesterday, the Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay said nationwide cleaning campaign is one aspect of nation-building.

Lyonchhen said the clean-up campaign is just one part of people’s gift to His Majesty and that the main gift is to sustain it – to keep Bhutan clean and green for all times.

December 9 will be declared a National Holiday.
