Thimphu District Court sentenced a 39-year-old woman to five years prison term for conning 37 people of more than Nu 10 M.
The verdict was passed yesterday.
The verdict said the convict has promised the victims employment in the United States.
The court has also ordered the convict to repay the victims within the next three months.
The woman was arrested in May this year.
