infringement-sticker-for-traffic-violators-initiatedAn infringement sticker will be pasted on vehicles violating parking regulations. The violations include improper and double parking.

The Traffic Division, under Royal Bhutan Police, launched the initiative yesterday.

The sticker will be pasted on windshield of the vehicles. Once the stickers are pasted, the drivers are mandated to report to Traffic Division office within the next three days.

Traffic’s Officiating Superintendent, Yeshay T. Phuntsho said the initiative is to reduce issues related to violation of parking regulations which has been increasing recently.

Some of the issues include hit and run cases.

The initiative, also to ease traffic jam, will be implemented strictly from Monday.
