PM inaugurates construction of urban infrastructure

pm-inaugurates-construction-of-urban-infrastructureThe Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay, inaugurated the construction of urban infrastructure at lower Taba local area plan in Thimphu, today.pm-inaugurates-construction-of-urban-infrastructure

The construction project includes blacktopping of over six-kilometre road, construction of drainage and water supply network at lower Taba.

Instalment of 228 street lights and construction of sewerage network in the area are also included in the project.

The project will cost over Nu 251 M and will be complete in two and a half years.

Thimphu Thromde handed over the contract works to Marushin Shitaka Construction Company, based in Japan.

The company started executing the work since last month.
