pm-visits-dzongkhalum-bridgeThe Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay said the block at Dzongkhalum Bridge along the Trongsa-Zhemgang along should be opened before September 22.

Recent monsoon had damaged the 34-metres Bridge which was constructed in 2014.

Lyonchhen visited the site and met with concerned officials. He told them to send him a daily report of the work progress.

As temporary measure, the traffic from the block is diverted from Mangdechhu Hydropower Project’s tunnel to the main road.

Lyonchhen also told the officials that there should not be any accident in the tunnel.

Starting today, Mangdechhu Hydropower Project will deploy two buses for the convenience and safety of commuters.

The Prime Minister also inspected the work progress of Mangdechhu Hydropower Project. He visited the dam, powerhouse and tunnel construction sites.
