An 18-year-old boy died after he was stabbed on his thigh at around 11 PM, on Friday, in Phuentshogling. Sources say he was stabbed following a scuffle.

He was taken to Phuentshogling Hospital but died shortly because of excessive bleeding, a medical report says.

The police have arrested a 21-year-old man from Paro in connection with the crime. Police say he has confessed to the crime.

Both the victim and suspect were under the influence of alcohol.
