PM meets winter youth programme’s participants-The Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay met with the participants of the Third Winter Youth Engagement Programme in Gyalpoizhing under Monggar, today. Close to 680 girls from six Eastern Districts are attending the camp.

Lyonchhen advised the participants to be strong, aim high, and work hard.

The Third Youth Engagement Programme began from December 30, 2015 and will conclude on 20th of this month.
The camp is being organised on the command of His Majesty the King to meaningfully engage the socio-economically disadvantaged girls from the East.

The Prime Minister flew in by a helicopter from Pema Gatshel to meet the participants.

Earlier today, Lyonchhen visited the construction site of Yongla Goenpa in Pema Gatshel. He also met with the people of Shumar Gewog.
