The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) has filed 55 charges under eight different cases against Gelegphu’s former Dungpa. The cases were registered with the Gelegphu Dungkhag Court, today.
The Dungpa has been charged with black marketing to Tokay Gecko, and corruption in the rental charges and management of Gelegphu’s Losel Cinema Hall, among others.
He is also being charged with misusing power and forging documents.
The Royal Audit Authority and Anti-Corruption Commission had investigated the case since June, last year.
