More Bhutanese arrive home from quake-struck NepalTwenty six Bhutanese, stranded in Nepal following the earthquake, arrived in the country early yesterday by road.

After over 15 hours of travelling, the bus arrived at Panitanki, the Indian side of the Indian-Nepal border.

They were received by the Regional Customs Commissioner Vandana Deori and Bhutanese officials.

Most of the Bhutanese on the bus were young monks and nuns studying in Nepal. A few people were those undergoing various courses in Nepal.

One monk stayed back at Kakarvitta, the Nepal side of the border. The Bhutanese were then escorted to a resting place for dinner.

After a quick rest they headed towards Phuentshogling at about 10 pm.More Bhutanese arrive home from quake-struck Nepal.
