Jangbi village in Trongsa was selected as a place to observe second World Wildlife Day for Bhutan, this year, as it falls under the Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park. The village has a number of endangered species including tiger. It was to create awareness among the community living in the park area. The day was celebrated with a theme, “Partnering with Local Communities to Combat Wildlife Crime”.
