The Phuentshogling Dungkhag Court sentenced a 44-year-old man from India to six months in prison for sexually harassing an 18-year-old at work place. He can pay 22,500 in lieu of six months imprisonment.
The man is also asked pay a compensation of Nu.22,500 to the victim. The incident happened on the afternoon of July 17 in Pasakha. Both the victim and accused work for the same private company in Pasakha.
The verdict was passed yesterday.
