Budget for labour ministry revised

Budget for labour ministry revised---The total budget allocated to the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources has been revised to Nu.515.7 MN.

Additional amount Nu.69.4 MN has been approved because of pay revisions and external grants, states a report in the Supplementary Budget Appropriation Bill.

The Finance Minster, Namgay Dorji had presented the report in the National Assembly, today.

“The additional budget was approved to enhance and improve the employment situation in the country,” said the Finance Minister, Namgay Dorji.

The annual allocated budget otherwise, was Nu.446.2 MN, for the financial year 2014-15.
