His Royal Highness graces textile exhibition in LhuEntse-His Royal Highness Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck graced the textile exhibition in Lhuentse, today.

The exhibition is among the first activities under ‘Peoples’ initiatives in Celebrating 60th Birth Anniversary (PISCA)’, of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo.

After formally inaugurating the exhibition, His Royal Highness interacted with the people and visited stalls showcasing hand-woven textiles from across the country.

PICSA has been formed under the aegis of Her Majesty the Queen Mother, Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck to supplement and complement the government’s initiatives for the occasion

There are 10 more events to be held within next one year, while two main events specifically planned towards attempting a place in Guinness World Record.

His Royal Highness also granted tokha to the public. Various entertainment programmes were also performed at the exhibition.
