Abducted student-Pranab Subba- drops school for this year-- A class 10 student, who was among those abducted in Sarpang, has decided to drop this year’s semester. Pranab Subba, 17, who was kept confined by the abductors across the border for a month, said he has missed many classes because of which he may not be able to perform his broad exam well.

“I am worried. My principal also suggested that I continue my study from next year,” said Pranab Subba of Sarpang Higher Secondary School.

Two men and two teenagers were abducted by armed men on August 7.

Meanwhile, the two other men who were abducted from Shantipur in Assam, India have not been released yet. They were abducted on September 5. The two men were on their way to Gelegphu from Phuentshogling, when their vehicle carrying construction materials broke down.
