Bangladesh's golfer MD Sajib Ali wins Bhutan Open Amateur Golf ChampionshipA golfer from Bangladesh, MD Sajib Ali won this year’s Bhutan Open Amateur Golf Championship with a gross score of over 270.

More than 60 golfers from Bhutan, Bangladesh and Nepal took part in different categories including gross, net, team and junior.

Meanwhile, Tshering Dorji Rai won the junior category, Kuenzang J Tenzing net category, and Bangladesh Team A emerged as the team champion.

The championship was initiated in 1993. It is a prestigious golf tournament and determines the best golfer played over 70 holes.

The four-day event, organised by the Bhutan Golf Federation, was held at Royal Thimphu Golf Course.
