Tsirang Police on the lookout for murder suspectThe Police in Tsirang are looking for a 25-year-old murder suspect, who went missing on August 29. He is suspected of murdering his wife. His wife’s body was found in almost a decomposed state. The doctors say she could have been dead for nine days.

The body was recovered from her house at Tongsingnang in Tsirang.

On Wednesday, the suspect’s mother had gone to the deceased’s house to meet her son. The house was locked from outside, said the mother in a statement to the police. She also said foul smell coming from inside the house made her suspicious to inform the village tshogpa the next day.

The police was informed only on Thursday.

The investigating team found the body lying on the floor with a rope tied around her neck. The other half of the rope was hanging from a beam. The police report says it was difficult to determine the signs of struggle.

The report says the deceased and her husband argued constantly because the husband had converted to Christianity.

The report also says the deceased’s mother in-law and her husband suspected her of having extramarital affairs.

The investigations also found out that the suspect is mentally unsound.

They were married for just three months.
