Dzongdags are His Majesty’s direct representatives in the Dzongkhags, Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay said this at the opening of the ongoing Annual Dzongdags’ Conference.
Lyonchhen graced the opening of the 21st Annual Dzongdags’ Conference in the capital, today.
The Prime Minister also announced that he would be meeting with each Dzongdag on the sidelines of the conference to review the Performance Agreements signed with them.
He also highlighted on the fact that tourism industry, agriculture and the economy as a whole, needed to be strengthened.
