Pema Gatshel Dzongkhag signs performance agreement with PM

PM-Performance Agreement-Pema Gatshel Dzongdag-Tshering KezangThe Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay, signed the performance agreement with Pema Gatshel’s Dzongdag, Tshering Kezang, at Nganglam Dungkhag, yesterday.

The objectives mentioned in the agreement include enhancing agriculture and livestock production such as vegetables, dairy, poultry and meat products.

The Dzongkhag also aims to develop income-generating opportunities, rural access to market and socio-economic services, and augment sustainable management and utilization of natural resources for income generation among others.

Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay reiterated his commitment to the Dzongdag and Dzongkhag administration of Pema Gatshel that the government will provide the necessary fund and resources required for optimal delivery of results described in the annual performance agreement.
