Education Minister Yeezang De Thapa said Nu 5.5bn has been allocated to support infrastructure development in non-central schools across Bhutan. This is to construct multipurpose halls, dining halls, teachers’ residential quarters, and toilets, among others. Responding to concerns raised by the Dewathang-Gomdar MP regarding unequal resource allocation for central and non-central schools in the National Assembly today, the minister said all schools will be supported, regardless of their classification.
