The ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the Trashi Yangtse Dzongkhag court was held, yesterday. The High Court Justice, Dasho Sangay Khandu, attended the ceremony. The new dzongkhag court will be constructed at a cost of about Nu.30 million . The new court will be constructed above the Zorig Chusum Institute, about three kilometers from Trashi Yangtse dzong. The court is, currently, housed inside the dzong.
