ClassXIIpaper-NoRe-Exam(Update): The Bhutan Council for School Examinations and Assessments (BCSEA) has decided not to conduct re-examination for the leaked English Paper II of Class XII.

A press release from the Council says it has instead decided to award English I marks for English II, as the two papers are related. This means, the students will be awarded the same marks they score in English Paper I.

The emergency board meeting, chaired by the Education Minister, had three options at hand. The options, according to the release, were- validating English marks based on English I marks, re-examination of the paper, or identifying candidates who got the leaked question paper.

The Council Secretary, Kinga Dakpa, said the council was prepared to implement any of the decisions.
