Two Bhutanese women announced Asia’s Young Leaders

2013-2014 Asia 21 Young LeadersKesang Chuki Dorjee of KCD Productions and Lungten Zangmo Wangchuk have been announced as part of the Class of 2013-2014 Asia 21 Young Leaders.

 This is a prestigious group of the region’s emerging leaders under the age of 40 in the fields of government, business, policy, education, and arts.

Kesang Chuki Dorjee is an independent filmmaker whose documentaries address social issues of women and children in Bhutan.

Lungten Zangmo Wangchuk is a public health specialist and an independent consultant. She, currently, works as a public health consultant in East-Timor with the World Health Organization.

The Asia 21 Young Leaders’ programme builds relationships, encourages interdisciplinary dialogue and cultural exchange, and develops cooperative responses for addressing shared challenges.
