In the ongoing AFC Under-16 football Championship 2014 qualifiers, Bhutan lost the fourth and last match of the Championship to India by eight goals to one, yesterday.
India scored five goals in the first half, and three more in the second half. Bhutan managed only a single goal in the first half.
This is Bhutan’s fourth consecutive loss. The first loss was to Lebanon, the second to Tajikistan, and the third to Kuwait.
Bhutan with Kuwait, Lebanon, Tajikistan and India are in Group A.
The winners of the ten qualifying groups and the best five runners-up will head to the finals in Thailand for the 2014 AFC U-16 Championship.
The Championship qualifiers end on September 29.
