The first-ever Nyingma Foundation meeting was held at Gangtey Goenpa in Wangdue Phodrang, last week. Over 160 monks and Lams attended the meeting which was chaired by the Gangtey Trulku.
The members discussed rules, regulations and ways to support the foundation during the meeting.
They also talked on preservation of the Buddhist teaching with emphasis on the Nyingma tradition.
The foundation was instituted in 2012 as a Civil Society Organisation by Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse.
