A day run, also called a “Tshechu Run” which saw more than 3000 students participated, covering six kilometers was conducted here in the capital. The Run, which kick-started from the Thimphu Track and Field ground, was jointly organized by Bhutan Amateur Athletic Federation and Yoedzer Events.  The Winners were awarded a small cash prize. The Run, according to the Federation Official is also expected to help them find pool of talents in middle distance running.
